Dr. Walker received her BS in Biology from the University of Nebraska, and her PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She did her postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University and was research faculty at the University of Michigan prior to beginning as Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. Dr. Walker enjoys running, watching tennis (pros and her kids), and quilting.
